A Note From Simone...
Hello - I’m Simone Smith group
leader of the Brooklyn, NY chapter of Christian Runners.org.
I took a running class 7 years
ago and became hooked - been running ever since and thoroughly enjoy it
– the time running is priceless to think thru issues/plans, pray, or even
sing along to my Ipod (I’m no competition for American Idols contestants).
I enjoy pushing myself beyond what I did during my last session.
My purpose for starting the Brooklyn
chapter of ChristianRunners.org is to share my passion of running, healthy
living and to unite local Christian runners or walkers, for fellowship,
running or walking. I invite you to join us regardless of your running
ability, to fellowship with other runners in Brooklyn. Since we began I
found true friend in the body of Christ that enjoy running. I thank God
for Joshua Jordan, Michelle Forde and all others who come out to run/walk
and fellowship.
I am Blessed to be a Blessing.
I pray that God’s desire to build up the body of Christ is furthered through
this group.
